CENMAC - Assistive Technology in Education

CENMAC is a team of specialists based at Charlton Park Academy offering advice and support for children and young people who have difficulties with communication and access to education. 

This includes but is not limited to those with an autistic spectrum disorder, dyspraxia, dyslexia, motor skills difficulties, sensory impairments, or communication needs. 

CENMAC conducts assessments and reviews and provides Assistive Technology to support their learning, enable independence and inclusive education. 

We work with parents/carers, school staff and multidisciplinary teams (SENCOs, SLTs and OTs) to achieve positive outcomes.
