What research tells us about SEND assessment in primary school and off-rolling in secondary school

This session will explore the findings of two ground-breaking EPI research projects. In the first part it will examine evidence of a postcode lottery for SEND provision, with detailed findings about which children are most likely to access support and which are at greatest risk of missing out. The second part will examine the prevalence of off-rolling, the increased risk for children with additional needs, and impact on education.
