Effective SENCOs enable better outcomes for children and young people with SEND. This session will cover the key findings of the National SENCO Surveys (2018-2021) and five key areas which are paramount to effective SENCO deployment and workload management. A practising SENCO with primary and secondary experience, Hannah will speak about the barriers SENCOs often face, as well as some helpful, practical strategies for using time effectively – magic wands not included.
